Tuesday - An Elope to Del Mar moment started the day with Marcus and Carol-Anne from Vancouver B.C. A wonderful couple that loved the private cliff location I recommended above Torrey Pines Beach.

Then off to Elope to La Jolla ceremony at sunset with Wendy and Russ, a wonderful couple from Wisconsin who brought along family to share in the moment.

This was the day that the strange fog bank blew in…and I mean blew in and hit us from the south heading north. It was very freaky.. I posted the video I took on my Facebook page if you wish to see it move in on top of our ceremony.

Richard Santini from RHS Photo was on hand to capture the ceremony and I can’t wait to see how the photos he took of the event turn out.

Wednesday – NEW YEAR’S EVE! – A specialĀ  Elope to Coronado sunset moment with Dominick and Natalie. She is from the LA area and he is stationed in Miami. They made it just in time for sunset…..

Once again, Richard Santini from RHS Photo was on hand to capture the moment and I just love these reflective shots… Anyone willing to stand in cold ocean water for this kind of shot deserves a little praise right?

I raced home in time to change clothes and load the grandkids for a New Years Eve celebration and fireworks at First Night Escondido. Although on the chilly and damp side, we had a blast! Here is a shot of me and my buddy boy Eden…

Thursday – NEW YEARS DAY! What a great way to start the year with 2 . First with Janet and Roger for a 1 – 1 – 1 Elope to Coronado moment (Jan 1, at 1pm). They brought their family with them from Palm Springs and we stepped out onto the beach for the ceremony. They are an awesome couple and made the first ceremony of 2009 such a delight!

The off to La Jolla for a Sunset Elope to La Jolla moment with Jennifer and Keith. She is from Kansas where she is a pharmaceutical student and he is a law student in Boston. It became very very foggy and cold but they made the best of it with their friends, a wonderful couple from Pasadena.

Friday - Time once again to share with the family as we headed off to the San Diego Wild Animal Park to view the final year of the Festival of Lights. Rumor has it it really is not going away, just moving to its new home at the San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park. A chilly and foggy night with coffee and hot cocoa to keep us warm. Eden and his Mr. papa had a blast!

Saturday - A special in Temecula to finish off the week. Kip and Marlene invited family and close friends to witness this moment at a beautiful home in Deluz Canyon of Temecula. It was a wonderful day and although the clouds threatened to dump rain, it remained perfect….
